Know the Score is a drugs information gateway providing information for young people, parents, relatives, friends and communities. It is part of a network of drugs-related services and organisations which provide information and advice on drugs issues. The web site contains information for everyone from young people and parents, who simply want the facts about drugs, to those who might be looking for more detailed advice about the potential harmful effects of substance abuse. Also available are details of organisations in local areas which are tacking drugs, and useful telephone numbers such as the new, confidential 24-hour Know the Score Information line freephone. The site includes a guide to drugs, advice for parents and a search facility offering contact details for help and support in local areas. - The Society for the Prevention of Solvent and Volatile Substance Abuse
Re-Solv is the only national charity solely dedicated to the prevention of solvent and volatile substance abuse. This site contains information about research projects, publications and factsheets. Also on offer is the chance to take part in a free online course to learn more about volatile substance abuse.
